I started on a keto diet 5 weeks ago under the guidance of a mind and body guru for my mental health. The results have amazed me. Just over 5 weeks ago i was experiencing suicidal thoughts again. I had had enough of this life of bipolar and ocd stuffing with my life. I luckily stumbled across an old friend who suggested i try this diet,, he explained it briefly to me and here i am today feeling the best i ever have in my life. I have very little if any noise in my head, no negative thoughts and for the 1st time in my life i have peace in my mind. Secondary to that my body composition has changed massively in 5 weeks and i have energy to burn. Im almost 45 and have been running, weights, healthy living and playing Aussie rules football but could not rid of my belly or waist fat. Now its gone. Running and gym helped my mental illness whilst i was doing it and hours after but then back to struggle town so id run or weights again until in the end i was seriously like Forrest Gump, i would run to feel good. Now with my keto diet, running, weights, meditation and journalising i am a brand new shiney happy healthy me ready to take on the world. If you want change, dont keep doing the same things and expecting change. Go out and change something and work hard at it, you deserve the best. Never give up the fight. Find new ways to fight.
