THE ONLY MOBILITY ROUTINE YOU’LL EVER NEED!
Many of us hate stretching, for two main reasons:
1) We suck at it (DUH ), and.....
2) We don’t know how to do it effectively and efficiently.......
WELL THAT ALL CHANGES TODAY!!!
Here’s a step-by-step full body mobility routine that I myself follow. Keep in mind: every week I lift weights, do calisthenics, box, train Krav Maga and Isshin-Ryu Karate, and play basketball at a minimum. So all these stretches assist me in staying mobile for all those dynamic movements involved for each of these activities. This of course carries over into other activities, sports, and types of training. Here’s the full list, in order: ———————————
Small arm circles___
Big arm circles___
Walkouts with push-up (countdown from 5, 4, 3, 2, 1)___
World’s greatest stretch (both sides & both legs)___
Deep squat rock___
Downward dog alternating calf stretch___
Floor wipers (can also do straight leg)___
Alternating single leg low back stretch___
Alternating prone scorpion___
The best way to perform a daily mobility/stretch routine......is to do it daily!!! Don’t neglect this; get it done and stay mobile! The phrase “use it or lose it” certainly rings true for flexibility!
